CU310-2 PN configuration for PROFINET interoperability test case (TIA Portal / Startdrive)

Post

Hello,

I am currently testing our PROFINET IO Controller using the interoperability test cases from the certification process.

In the list of devices we must support, there is a SINAMICS CU310-2 PN.

I have this device available, but I am struggling to configure it correctly for use with a non-Siemens controller.

I understand that configuration must be done using TIA Portal with Startdrive. However, I am unable to achieve a configuration that matches the device description provided by the certification team.

The expected structure is described as follows:

Slot 1: DO_SERVO
Subslot 1: Module Access Point
Subslot 2: PROFIsafe Telegram 30 (Addr 50)
Subslot 3: Standard Telegram 3, PZD-5/9 (SERVO)

Slot 2: DO Control Unit
Subslot 1: Module Access Point
Subslot 2: Without PROFIsafe
Subslot 3: Siemens Telegram 390, PZD-2/2

From what I understand, this corresponds to a multi-DO configuration, but I cannot reproduce this setup in TIA Portal with a CU310-2 PN.

In particular:
- I do not see how to configure multiple Drive Objects (DO_SERVO + DO Control Unit)
- PROFIsafe seems required in the description, but I am not sure if it is mandatory for certification tests
- The Telegram combination (Telegram 3 + Telegram 390) is unclear for this type of hardware

To clarify my request:
- I am specifically looking for guidance on how to configure the CU310-2 PN in TIA Portal / Startdrive
- I am NOT asking about my controller configuration

Is there any official documentation, application note, or example project that describes:
- The expected PROFINET module layout for CU310 in certification context
- How to configure Drive Objects and telegrams accordingly in TIA Portal
- Whether PROFIsafe is required or optional in this scenario

Any guidance or example would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Kind regards
