Hello Team,

I want to test my Profinet device before sending it to the certification lab and for that I found the PN test bundle on PI website. The PN specification doc says that, to do the PN pretest we need to use the ETS-Board. Does it necessary to use the ETS-Board or we can use any Profinet IO controller to test the same.

Thank you in advance for your reply..

Best Regards,
Sagar

If you want to execute the certification tests with the automated tester software, you have to use the ETS board.

In the test bundle look for test specification Testspec-PN_2572_V245_Jun24.pdf.
Chapter 5.5.5 table 5-22 lists the tests and required test setup.
Except for InterOp tests, all tests are run using the ETS test setup.
