How long is the Profinet certificate valid ?
In general a PROFINET Certificate is valid for three years.

Is it possible to extend the validity of the Profinet certificate? If yes, what is the procedure for doing so ?

Yes, it is possible. You can download the application form here: https://www.profibus.com/download/appli ... ertificate. The filled out form can be send to: certification(at)profibus(dot)com. Please add a short note, that you want to extend the vadility of your Profinet certificate. Please include in your e-mail also information about whether you have changed anything on the device (especially the interface/software used) or whether the device is unchanged.The colleagues from PROFIBUS NUtzerorganisation e.V. will contact you regarding the application.
