For a controller implementation with communicty stack, what configuration software can be recommended?

The PROFINET Community Stack is not a devkit. There is therefore no ready-made engineering. The idea is that a technology provider can offer a high-quality product with the help of the community stack, as the "engine" has already been tested and thus ensures high quality from the outset.

For engineering purposes, the person who programmes the controller must also configure the PROFINET network. The community stack will receive this parameterisation interface in the form of software that generates the configuration for the community stack based on a description of the device.
The input is therefore:

• 1. The GSDML files of all devices used.

• 2. A list of all participants and their address settings (device name, IP,...).

• 3. A configuration list of which modules are plugged into each participant.

• 4. Optionally the topology of the Ethernet.
