PROFINET specification talks about PROFINET cycle times below 250 microseconds (DFP etc).

The ASICs ERTEC 200P-2 and ERTEC 200P-3 support the such called IRT performance upgrade. This includes DFP and cycle times less than 250µs.
Independent if TSN or IRT with cycle times of e.g. 125µs is used, the PLC must be able to handle the (synchronous) user application as well.
More important than the shortest update times of the device is the high precision of PROFINET in synchronization of IRT. Here the jitter is better than 1µs.
A PLC that allows cycle times below 250µs is the SIMATIC S7-1518.
